Ruger is proud to introduce a new model of the Ruger® Hawkeye® FTW Hunter available in 7mm PRC. Originally designed in conjunction with the instructors of the Sportsman's All-Weather, All-Terrain Marksmanship (SAAM) school at the highly regarded FTW Ranch in Barksdale, TX, the Hawkeye FTW Hunter features an H-S Precision traditional-style hunting stock.

The H-S Precision stock boasts a full-length aluminum bedding block and slender pistol grip with Pro-Center® technology, and pairs with the cold hammer-forged barrel, allowing for exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. Engraved with the FTW logo, the hinged, solid-steel floorplate allows for easy unloading without the need to chamber each cartridge. Offered in eight additional configurations, including three left-handed options, the Hawkeye FTW Hunter is sure to be a popular choice among hunting enthusiasts.

Product Features

• Non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor is among the most positive case extraction systems ever invented, and features a fixed blade-type ejector that positively ejects empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward.

• Hinged, solid-steel floorplate for easy unloading without having to chamber each cartridge. Features an engraved FTW Hunter logo and patented latch that is flush with the trigger guard to avoid accidental dumping of cartridges.

• 20 MOA Picatinny rail secured with four, #8-40 screws for increased long-range elevation capabilities overtop the traditional integral scope mounts that are machined directly on the solid-steel receiver.

• Three-position safety is easily accessible and allows the shooter to lock the bolt or to load and unload the rifle with the safety engaged.

• Pro-Series® H-S Precision® tan-black speckled synthetic stock features a full-length aluminum bedding block and slender pistol grip with Pro-Center® technology.

• The LC6â„¢ trigger features smooth, crisp performance right out of the box for increased accuracy on the range or in the field.

• Cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.

• Rugged, one-piece, stainless steel bolt.

• The Ruger® Muzzle Brake System includes a removable, radial-port muzzle brake that significantly reduces felt recoil. For times when the brake is not preferred, it may be replaced by the included dynamically-matched muzzle weight. Switching between the brake and the weight will not change the bullet's point of impact for a particular load. The included thread protector may be used if neither the brake nor the weight is desired.
